- Wildflower Walk, May 9, 2008 (click here to see map)
Carpool with the Grant/Adams Master Gardeners and join us for our Wildflower Walk. If you can't join us, follow our route on another day. Be sure to bring a warm coat, just in case, and maybe your camera. We will leave from the Courthouse in Ephrata at 8:30 am. Bring a bag lunch and plenty of water, we will dine "al fresco" at Palisades and then continue on to Derby Canyon Natives in
Peshastin , WA for a tour of the native plant nursery there. We will be back to Ephrata about 6:00 pm. Please note, there are no developed trails and hiking can be strenuous. There are also no restroom facilities until we arrive at Palisades .
If you can't join us, come back to this site for pictures of what we found and explanations of our unique ecosystem.

- Visit our Drought Tolerant Demonstration Garden located at the Moses Lake Public Library, 418 East Fifth Avenue. The purpose of this garden is to educate gardeners and landscapers on the concepts and opportunities of establishing landscapes that are low maintenance and require little water.
The garden was designed and is maintained by the Master Gardener Foundation of Grant-Adams counties in partnership with the City of Moses Lake. It is financed by the Master Gardener Foundation of Grant-Adams counties and many donations from the community. See the Garden in Summer and in Winter. Our Brochure lists the many plants that are featured in the Garden.
